The Iron Valiant is a psychic-based Basic Pokémon released in the Paradox Rift card expansion, which became available on November 3, 2023. These new cards come with either Ancient or Future mechanics for a set number of Paradox Pokémon. Iron Valiant Ex comes with the Future mechanic, meaning that it is the future relative of Gardevoir, as the artwork on the card indicates.
For access to Iron Valiant Ex in Pokémon TCG Live, all you need to do is purchase the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet: Paradox Rift Booster Bundle off Amazon.
This Trainer Box costs you around $40. Upon purchase, Amazon will send a code to your inbox that can be used to redeem the Iron Valiant ex in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live for you to use either through your computer or smartphone. This redemption code is limited to one Pokémon TCG Live account from now through November 2, 2024, while supplies last.
Keep in mind that this redemption code is only available when the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Paradox Rift Booster Bundle box is purchased through Amazon’s The Pokémon Trading Card Game store. So if you buy it through another third party, you will not be able to obtain Iron Valiant Ex in the digital game.
When equipped with a Future Booster Energy Capsule card, Iron Valiant Ex allows you to bring up and use another Iron Valiant Ex card you have on your bench. With its Tachyon Bits ability, you will hit one of your opponent’s Pokémon with two damage counters. Its signature move – Laser Blade – has a 200 attack power.
