“The pads of its paws are electricity-discharging organs. Pawmi fires electricity from its forepaws while standing unsteadily on its hind legs.” – Scarlet Pawmi Pokédex entry
Pawmi is one of many new Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that is brand new to the franchise for Generation IX, but is pretty difficult to find. Pawmi is a El-type Pokémon who just has one evolution, Pawmot.
Pawmi can mostly be found early in the game in southern Paldea. Here’s a map for Pawmi locations in Scarlet and Violet.
Bear in mind, however, that Pawmi don’t really like to be found and are usually on their own away from other Pokémon. While the symbol for them appears on the in-game map, we only found one south of Inlet Grotto in the shade of some trees. They don’t have very high spawn rates.
Pawmi stop learning moves at level 44, with Wild Charge. To evolve them, level them up level 16, then take 1000 steps in auto-battle mode.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available now on Switch.
