Nintendo have announced they will be hosting another Direct broadcast tomorrow, though this one will be a little bit different from what we’re used to. Tomorrow’s Direct will be shorter than usual, and will be focused entirely on Pokémon, with a reveal of the eighth generation and the Nintendo Switch games expected.
Tune in on 2/27 at 6am PT for roughly 7 minutes of new information in a livestreamed #Pokemon Direct presentation!https://t.co/d1Xx3bDbhq pic.twitter.com/BEwvJi8BFi

The broadcast will take place at 6am PT, which works out to 2pm GMT, so maybe take a late lunch tomorrow. It makes sense that a new announcement will happen tomorrow though, as it’s Pokémon Day tomorrow. There’s a Detective Pikachu trailer that’s just dropped and a limited time event coming to Pokémon Go as well.
It’ll be interesting to see how the success of Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee will affect the overall gameplay of the iconic series, as those games streamlined the overall experience, though honestly we’re just going to be disappointed if Nintendo don’t announce Pokémon Snap 2: Electric Boogaloo.
