PlayStation’s Play At Home Program Adds New In-Game Content In May

Sony‘s ongoing Play At Home program, in which PlayStation players can download multiple critically-acclaimed games for free and stay indoors and socially-distanced during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, is continuing to roll out new content into May 2021, according to a post on PlayStations’ blog.

The latest batch of offers include in-game cosmetics and currency for a number of popular PlayStation games, like the ‘PlayStation Plus pack’ of cosmetic items for Rocket League, giving players “Blue Notch Wheels, Blue Smoke Boost, Blue Rocks Trail, and the Trimpact BL Player Banner.” Similarly, Brawlhalla players get the Brawlhalla: Play At Home pack, including “Rayman Legend Unlock, Sir Rayelot Skin with Axe and Gauntlet Weapon Skins, Shrug Emote and Grimm Sidekick.”

Additionally, Destruction AllStars players will get 1100 Destruction points, MLB The Show 21 players get 10 The Show packs, and Rogue Company players get the unlockable Kyoto Undercover Ronin outfit and 200 Rogue Bucks for in-game purposes. Additional in-game offers are available for NBA 2K21, Warframe, and World of Tanks/World of Warships, all available on May 17th.

On May 20th, Call of Duty: Warzone players can also claim a Play At Home offer for 5 Double XP Tokens.

The blog posts refers to this content as “the final Play At Home content drop,” signaling the end of new content for the program.

 

What Else Is In Play At Home?

 

In terms of actual games, the Play At Home program previously offered both indie hits and major releases, such as Inside, Subnautica, Enter The Gungeon, and The Witness.

The Deluxe Edition of Horizon: Zero Dawn, the widely-praised open world action game, is currently available for free through the program will stop being available for free through Play At Home as of May 14th, at 8:00pm Pacific Time / May 15 04:00 BST / 05:00 CEST.

All other Play At Home offers will be available until June 6th at 11:59 PM PDT/June 7th at 2:59 AM EDT.
