Physical Copies Of The Wonderful 101: Remastered Delayed

Digital copies are fine, though.

The Wonderful 101

PlatinumGames have announced that digital copies for The Wonderful 101: Remastered have been delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The news was announced to Kickstarter backers last night, though PlatinumGames have publicly acknowledged the situation with the tweets below.

For those who backed the physical version reward tier on Kickstarter, Platinum will be sending those people bonus Steam copies of the game on May 7th, the same time that they’ll be sending codes to all digital version backers. The physical version will then be sent sometime in late June, according to Platinum’s estimates.

As for those hoping to purchase The Wonderful 101: Remastered when it launches in stores, you’ll be happy to know that the digital version’s retail release remains the same: May 19th for North America and May 22nd for Europe. As for the physical release, you’ll be waiting until June 30th in NA and July 3rd for Europe. It’s the best of both worlds, as Platinum are delivering The Wonderful 101: Remastered on its promised release date while still ensuring the physical version is ready. Will you be picking up The Wonderful 101 digitally or physically? Let us know in the comments.
