People Can Fly Working On Brand New Next-Gen Game

People Can Fly

Indie developers People Can Fly seem to have a lot on their plate at the moment. Not only are they developing Outriders with Square Enix, which is set to launch at the end of the year, but they’re also working on a brand new action-adventure game that’s set to launch on next-gen platforms, PC and “streaming platforms”.

The project will be developed at People Can Fly’s New York studio, with the production led by studio head David Grijns and creative director Roland Lesterlin. The NY Studio will expand over the next 12-18 months, and will open a new start-up in Montreal, while simultaneously working with the other PCF studios at Warsaw, Rzeszow, and Newcastle to create this “highly ambitious, groundbreaking action-adventure title”.

Sebastian Wojciechowski, CEO at People Can Fly, said the following in a press release: “Last year we announced the opening of our New York studio and revealed Outriders for the first time. Today we have surpassed 250 staff and are excited to announce the next chapter in the development of our company. Our intention from the beginning has been to expand People Can Fly into a multi-project studio and continue to build a global presence for our brand.”

People Can Fly’s previous work includes Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment and Painkiller, so it’ll be interesting to see what they’ve got cooking with this secretive project. Leave your best theories in the comments below.
