Onimusha Warlords Coming To PC, PS4, Xbox One And Switch Next Year

Onimusha

If yesterday’s announcement of Streets of Rage 4 wasn’t enough news about classic franchises for you, Capcom have you covered. Today, presumably sick of people asking for them to do something with the series, they’ve announced that they’ll be re-releasing Onimusha Warlords on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, scheduled to come out on the 15th January 2019.

Unlike the Resident Evil 2 remake, which will completely overhaul the game, this version of Onimusha Warlords will simply be the original game but with updated framerates, textures and resolution, similar to how Capcom re-released games like Okami HD.

Nothing has been confirmed about the other games in the series yet, but if this does well, expect to see more Samanosuke and maybe even Jean Reno in the near future. Now we’re just waiting on Capcom to re-release God Hand and Viewtiful Joe. Come on now lads, you know the people want it.
