Streets of Rage 4 Announced, And Yes You Read That Right

Streets of Rage 4

Talk about all-time best birthday presents! Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games have announced that they’re working together, in association with SEGA, on Streets of Rage 4. The classic beat ’em up franchise from the arcades is being brought back for modern systems, and I couldn’t be happier.

Even if I do prefer Final Fight.

Announced via a rather beautiful looking announcement trailer that also gives us a look at how the game will look in motion, the sequel is being developed by the team behind the 2017 remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Streets of Rage 4 will include fan favourite characters Axel and Blaze, while promising to deliver “the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics”. Just check out the trailer for yourself below and get as excited as we are.
