Nintendo have announced their monthly offering for the Nintendo Switch Online libraries for the NES and SNES, and while the NES is only getting the one game, the SNES collection is being bolstered by three titles. Better still, one of those games is Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong’s Quest. Check out the tweet below.
More classic games are headed to #NES & #SNES – #NintendoSwitchOnline on 9/23!

All four games will be added to their respective libraries on September 23rd. For the NES, you’ll be able to play Special Cybernetic Attack Team, or S.C.A.T., which is possibly one of the most unfortunate acronyms you could think of. That being said, if I play it, would that make me the S.C.A.T. Man? Food for thought, I guess.
As for the SNES titles, you’ll be able to play The Peace Keepers, Mario Super Picross and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong’s Quest, meaning you’ll be able to carry on the journey from the first Donkey Kong Country, which was added back in July. Naturally, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription if you’d like to play these classic games, so bear that in mind.
