Plenty of games to look forward to here.

Nintendo’s financial report for the rest of the 2019 fiscal year just revealed the scheduled release windows for all of Nintendo’s upcoming published games. With the recent announcement that development has been restarted on Metroid Prime 4, meaning that the game has to be delayed indefinitely, it’s good to see that it wouldn’t affect Nintendo’s line-up too much. Check out the full line-up below:

  • Yoshi’s Crafted World – 29th March, 2019
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses – Spring 2019
  • Pokémon RPG for Nintendo Switch – Late 2019
  • Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch – 2019
  • Luigi’s Mansion 3 – 2019
  • DAEMON X MACHINA – 2019
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2 – 2019
  • Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order – 2019
  • Bayonetta 3 – TBA
  • Metroid Prime 4 – TBA

The financial report also indicated that Nintendo has lowered its target of 20 million Switch units sold to 17 million. In the holiday quarter alone, Nintendo managed to ship 9.42 million units alone, which is insane, and there’s no signs that the handheld juggernaut will be slowing down.

As for software, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate managed to shift 12 million copies in the space of just a month, becoming one of Nintendo’s fastest selling games ever made. With Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu also selling over 10 million copies, Nintendo are just raking the money in, and 2019’s release schedule suggests they’ll continue to do so for the next 12 months.
