Nintendo didn’t make much of an appearance during August’s Gamescom presentations, and it would seem that was because they were prepping their own Direct showcase. Today, Nintendo have announced a Direct showcase that promises to be filled with plenty of exciting announcements. Here’s everything you need to know.

Nintendo Direct September 2022: When Does It Start?

September 2022’s Nintendo Direct is set to start tomorrow, September 13th, at 7AM PT/10AM ET/3PM BST/4PM CEST. The showcase is set to last for 40 minutes.

Nintendo Direct September 2022: Where Can I Watch It?

The Direct showcase is set to go live on Nintendo’s own YouTube channel, which you can check out right here. If you miss the stream and want to catch up later, the full direct will also be live on Nintendo’s YouTube channel when the Direct concludes. The stream won’t be live on the Nintendo UK channel, because apparently the Queen dying means it would be disrespectful to talk about video games or something, but the VOD will be live on the Nintendo UK channel afterwards at 4pm BST.

Nintendo Direct September 2022: What Can We Expect?

The main rumour heading into this Nintendo Direct is that it’ll finally be the time where the Nintendo Switch ports of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and the Metroid Prime Trilogy will be announced, which has been a long time coming for a lot of Nintendo Switch owners.

As for other announcements, it’s possible that we could hear more details about Bayonetta 3, considering it’s meant to launch in October. We could also get more details about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, as it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything. Finally, could this be the Direct where Advance Wars 1+2: Boot Camp gets a release date after being stuck in limbo due to the war in Ukraine? We’ll see.
