Ninja Gaiden Trilogy Leaked For PS4 & Nintendo Switch

"Darkness is destined to lift in the end."

Backwards Compatibility

Listings have been found on the website Game Source Entertainment, a Hong Kong video game distributor, pointing to the existence of Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for both the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The listings have since been pulled, but the news was reported on by VG24/7, and there’s a cached version of the Nintendo Switch version out in the wild.

The Ninja Gaiden Trilogy will seemingly include Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, all of which are considered to be the definitive versions of each game in the trilogy. They’re also all rock hard, so bare that in mind if the trilogy does come to the Nintendo Switch. You might be tempted to yeet it into the nearest wall.

The listing points to a release during March 2021, but it’s also possible that’s a placeholder considering that March is the end of the financial year. While only the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions have been mentioned, it is also possible that the collection will make its way to other platforms too. Regional distributors tend to carry the versions that’ll sell, but that’s not to say that we won’t see the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy on Xbox One either, even if NG Sigma, NG 2 and NG 3: Razor’s Edge are all available via backwards compatibility.
