New Rainbow Six Siege Content Coming Next Year

It’s the remarkable story of a rough diamond polished until it’s an essential experience: Rainbow Six Siege has come a long way since its rocky patch during launch. It’s gone from a buggy, content-light almost mess into a slightly less buggy, content-packed shooter that continues to grip players around the world.

It should come as no surprise then that Ubisoft have announced that Siege will be supported through the entire of 2017 with new content.

The game has already had three expansions: Operation Black Ice, Operation Skull Rain, and Operation Dust Line. They’ve been a mixed bag so far, imbalancing the meta at times, greatly adding to it at others. Remember when Frost could snipe people with a shotgun? Good times.

If you’re dubious about Rainbow Six Siege, don’t be. I was cynical about it during launch, but after actually spending a few hours with it, the game refused to let go. It’s affordable now, too, so get in while the going’s good.

Oh, a Tachanka buff would be good while you’re at it, Ubi.
