While you might be gently bobbing along in your NEO-ONE without much of a care in the world, there can still be a lot you miss during an expedition in New Pokémon Snap, and having a slow-turning camera won’t help at all. Luckily, there’s a way to increase both quite easily.
Either in-between expeditions or while on one and after hitting +, you can go over to your Settings and change the speed at which your camera rotates around. Once in Settings, go to Camera and then change Camera Speed and Pointer Speed until you find the sensitivity that suits you, remembering to hit A to confirm.
You will probably need to fiddle with these two settings quite a lot, just as you will probably need some precision to get rare shots of Pokémon at the right moment. Having high sensitivity allows you to to look around the area and snap to Pokémon much faster, but you might overshoot it.
With some patience and fiddling, you should be taking shots of Magikarp like a true Pokémon master before long.
