New ONRUSH Gameplay Trailer Promises Some Silly Fun

Onrush game

I think I might have severely underestimated how much I would like to play ONRUSH until just recently. At first, I thought it was just another racer, which we are currently awash in a sea of. I like Codemasters, but I was recently really prepared to meticulously change wheels and tweak my suspension until I had perfected the corner on a track that had been bugging me for hours.

Apparently, ONRUSH is not that kind of game. It’s, from a few cursory glances of its new gameplay trailer, the Burnout sequel we may never get.

We really don’t see enough arcade racers around anymore with the biggest-hitters going as close to the real thing as they possibly can – heck, GT Sport even gives you a real racing license. This vibrant and over-the-top speedathon could be just what we need.

You can choose from eight vehicle classes in ONRUSH and each has their own interesting sounding RUSH feature, which gives players specific abilities to help them gain an advantage. It all sounds quite off-the-wall and I am here for it.

If you pre-order the game on PS4, you gain access to its open beta in May ahead of its launch on June 5th. ONRUSH will also be coming to Xbox One, but there’s no news on a PC version yet.
