It’s over. It’s finally over. Everything has turned a nice and agreeable grey, nobody is happy anymore, and you can finally have an excuse to just not go outside. The sunny season is behind us now, which means that it’s time to play a heckload of video games with the release schedule finally warming up.
There can only really be one highlight this week, and that is Insomniac’s Spider-Man: the long-awaited PS4 exclusive. All impressions are suggesting that it may be something truly special, but we will have to wait and see if it can hold a candle to the PlayStation 4’s other big hitter this year in God of War.
There are other games out, though none quite as feverishly anticipated as Spider-Man. We’ll be seeing the unlikely return of Zone of the Enders, Destiny 2 becoming forsaken, and the beginning of annual sports game season, though they may just be overlooked when the webslinger makes his mark.
We’ve compiled a quick look at this week’s new games, though it is by no means definitive as Steam is the platform that just refuses to sleep. What are you looking forward to playing the most? Let us know.
