Square Enix have revealed a brand new trailer for the upcoming RPG Final Fantasy VII Remake, which brings the classic PS1 game to modern audiences. The trailer also reveals the game’s new theme, along with some revamped moments from the original game. Check it out below.
The theme song, Hollow, was created by famed series composer Nobuo Uematsu, and features vocals from the singer/songwriter Yosh, a member of the Japanese rock band Survive Said The Prophet. Yosh and Uematsu also recorded a behind the scenes video talking about the creation of the new theme, which you can watch right here.
As for the theme song trailer, we can see a host of characters and events that haven’t been shown before, including Cloud’s trip to the Honey Bee Inn and his sudden change in fashion. We also see snippets of characters like Red XIII, the boss Palmer and Scarlet. Final Fantasy VII Remake is launching on April 10th for PS4. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments.
