After the blistering announcement at EVO 2018 of The Walking Dead’s Negan joining the Tekken 7 Season 2 DLC roster, we finally get to see Negan in action, and you better believe he’s bringing Lucille along for the ride.
During the Tekken World Tour Finals which took place at the weekend, a cinematic/gameplay trailer was dropped for the villainous zombie apocalypse survivor. The arena might look familiar for those still suffering from what happened to Abraham and Glenn in the TV show, but what is new is Negan’s ability to hit sick juggle combos on the entire Tekken roster. Maybe the show wouldn’t have suffered from a ratings slump if Jeffery Dean Morgan battered Devil Jin.
But you’re going to have to wait a while if you want to play as Negan. That said, Bandai Namco have you covered in the meantime. Launching today are series regulars Armor King and Craig Marduk, and they will be joined by Julia Chang further down the line, rounding out the Season 2 roster that started with Anna Williams and Lei Wulong back in September.
