How does this keep happening?

UPDATE: As expected, the full trailer has gone live revealing the below characters and their respective release date. No gameplay trailers though, so at least there’s that to look forward to. Check out the trailer below.

ORIGINAL POST: The folks over at NetherRealm Studios can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to a grand reveal, and today’s premiere of the rest of Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pass and character release dates have been leaked ahead of time. While the characters that will be available as part of the Kombat Pass have been leaked in the past, the release dates are new information.

There was a YouTube trailer, which has since been pulled, that featured a countdown until the big reveal, but users were able to grab the thumbnail which contained all the necessary details before the big event. Reddit user poklane managed to grab the hi-res screenshot which you can see below, which includes the official reveals of The Terminator and Joker.

With Shang Tsung and Nightwolf already available as part of the Kombat Pass, the next character will be the T-800 on October 8th, specifically the old man version from Terminator: Genisys and presumably Dark Fate, though we imagine that the classic versions of the character will be available as additional skins. After that, on November 26th, Mortal Kombat mainstay Sindel joins the roster to close out 2019.

In 2020, players can look forward to DC’s Joker, who we imagine will have plenty of cool cosmetic items. He’ll be joining the fun on January 28th, while the final character, Spawn, will land on March 17th. All of the above characters will be available for Kombat Pass owners first, then will be purchasable by all players a week later. It sucks that the reveal has been spoiled once again, but at least we still have some gameplay footage to wait for. Once the trailer drops, we’ll update this post with any new information.
