Today was scheduled to be the first Kombat Kast leading up to the release of Mortal Kombat 11, but due to Chicago, the home of developers Netherrealm Studios, currently being enveloped in a cold that the National Weather Service has described as “life-threatening”, Netherrealm have announced that the stream will be delayed until February 5th.
The safety of our team is very important to us. Due to the dangerous incoming storm, we’ve decided to move the Kombat Kast to Tuesday, February 5th, at 3 pm CST. We thank you for your understanding!

The first Kombat Kast was scheduled to officially reveal Kabal, probably along with a few surprises. With the delay, we’re going to have to wait a bit longer to see MK’s resident speedy lad in action, but with the weather in Chicago said to be cold enough to cause frostbite on bare skin in five minutes, the developer’s safety is so much more important.
Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to launch on April 23rd on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, though the Switch release in the UK has been pushed back to May 1oth, weirdly. Are you excited for the game? Rip someone’s spine out in the comments.
