During the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals, it was announced that Bandai Namco’s popular 3v3 fighter would be getting a second season of DLC. Starting on January 31st, players will be able to download Jiren and Videl, with four more characters coming throughout the year.
Two of those additional characters have already been confirmed as the Dragon Ball Super version of Broly and Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, both of which featured in the recent Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. No release window was given for these characters, however.
Gameplay wise, Jiren seems to play like every bit the unstoppable juggernaut he was portrayed as during his run in Dragon Ball Super, while Videl is able to call in Gohan, who is of course dressed as Great Saiyaman, for different special moves. It’s like Android 18 and 17 all over again.
Bandai haven’t revealed the pricing for the second FighterZ Pass, but considering the first pass cost around £30 for 8 characters, or £4 per character, we’d expect this one to cost around £20. Will you be picking up the second season pass for Dragon Ball FighterZ? Let us know in the comments.
