Monstrum 2’s Closed Beta Sign-Ups Live, Launching On PC Late 2020

Murder at sea.

Monstrum 2

Junkfish have announced that, ahead of the game’s launch on PC via Steam at the end of the year, you’ll be able to play Monstrum 2’s closed beta pretty soon, as sign-ups are now live on the game’s website. Check out the game’s cinematic trailer for an idea of the horrors you’ll be running from, or the horror you’ll become.

Monstrum 2 is a 4v1 asymmetrical horror game, where a team of four survivors have to solve puzzles, use items and stealth techniques in order to avoid and outwit a dangerous monster intent on killing them all. There’s plenty of unique monsters to choose from, each with their own ways of hunting down the humans, so you’ll have to use their abilities to your advantage.

The action takes place on a sea fortress that changes every single time you play, hopefully making for an experience that holds your attention longer than a couple of matches. Pre-orders are also live on the Monstrum 2 website, where you’ll be able to purchase the game at a special, discounted price, while guaranteeing beta access, bonus pre-order content and access to the game’s Early Access launch in Q4 2020. Will you be playing the Monstrum 2 closed beta? Sound off in the comments.
