Xbox controller issues to receive swift attention

Xbox Series X Controller

Reports on unresponsive Xbox wireless controllers have come to the attention of Xbox developer Microsoft, and the company is “actively working” on finding a solution.

The issues appear to be affecting the newest iteration of the Xbox wireless controllers which were released for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. Many players have reported that the controllers’ buttons are unresponsive when pressed. Players have reported this issue while using the controller to play on both Xbox and PC.

While Microsoft has said they are on the case, a timeline has not been provided on when players can expect a solution.

In speaking with The Loadout, a Microsoft representative said, “At Microsoft, we put all of our products through rigorous quality assurance testing and are committed to providing customers with an unparalleled gaming experience,” they say in a statement. “We are aware some players may be experiencing unresponsiveness with their new Xbox Wireless Controllers and our teams are actively working on a solution. For the best experience, we encourage customers to visit Xbox Support for assistance.”
