A feature that almost all games are enhanced dramatically by, Photo Mode is a great way of eking out some extra playtime as well as providing some free advertising if the captures are socially shared. While it’s not that common in FPS games, it shouldn’t be a surprise to see the rather lovely looking Metro Exodus getting its very own Photo Mode for when it launches this February.
Jon Bloch, Executive Producer at 4A Games, said the following:
“Photo Mode has been one of the most requested features from the Metro community. They’re relatively rare in 1st person shooters, but the team have been determined to make it work and give Metro fans the opportunity to capture their own stories from the Russian wastelands.”
All platforms will have the feature with PC players also able to make use of Ansel from Nvidia for their captures.
This is the first announcement lined up for a week of Exodus news with a brand new story trailer set to drop tomorrow.
Metro Exodus launches on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on February 15th.
