Meet the Vultures: Ben Arzate

Ben Arzate

Hey, Ben! How are you? What was the last thing you ate and what would you rate it out of ten?
I’m okay. The last thing I ate was leftover pizza. I give it a 7 out of 10.

What’s your favourite book?
My favorite book is a toss up between Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities and Hubert Selby Jr.’s Last Exit to Brooklyn.

What drew you to CV?
Seeing authors I enjoy published on CV as well as books I don’t see discussed much elsewhere is what drew me to submit in the first place.

Where else can we find you?
I blog at dripdropdripdropdripdrop.blogspot.com. My poetry chapbook, the sky is black and blue like a battered child, is available on Amazon.

Who would win in a fight: a kangaroo with one punching hand or a crocodile missing half of its teeth?
It depends on where they were fighting. In anywhere but a river or swamp, the kangaroo would win. It could just keep jumping on the crocodile until it won.

You can check out the rest of Ben’s work this way, or find out how you can join the team here.
