MCU’s Spider-Man 3 Finally Gets A Title

While everyone's keeping mum on the narrative, the title does give us some ideas.

Spider-Man 3

The title of Spider-Man 3 has been revealed. After weeks of teasing us, the film’s twitter announced the title with a cute video featuring Tom Holland and his co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. It will be called Spider-Man: No Way Home, which fits with the theme of home in the previous titles (Spider-Man: Homecoming & Spider-Man: Far From Home).

Zendaya and Batalon tease Holland about his reputation of spoiling things from the franchise, as he did with the previous title, though it did seem more of an inside joke and a clever way to drum up publicity for the second film rather than an accident.

The title is related to the events that happened at the end of the second movie, with Mysterio framing Spider-Man, using the technology to paint him a villain, so this film will probably have Peter on the run, with seemingly no way back home.

Also, Marvel has confirmed that the third film will tie in with Doctor Strange 2, so the idea of the multi-verse could play into the narrative here, with Peter struggling to make his way back to his own timeline.

Peter may feel that his reality involves no way of coming back home, but with the help of those around him, as well as his own wits and skills, we hope the film ends with a homecoming, where he gets to be the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man he was before.
