Gaming Deals: RUINER & Kerbal Space Program Headline May 2018’s Humble Monthly

After a more than decent April edition with a trio of great games available as part of the early unlocks for Humble Monthly, we have another two incoming for May’s Humble Monthly offerings. Oh, and also Dead Rising 4.

RUINER is a maddeningly difficult and addictive top-down shooter that teaches you to play it how it wants you to over a series of constant deaths. It’s ridiculously fast-paced and packed with a tonne of action, as well as having a killer soundtrack to boot.

Next up, Kerbal Space Program is a similarly addictive but more laidback affair. If you’re a management game junkie, KSP might just be the zenith of it, offering enough micro-management and stats to keep track of to keep any accountants happy for years. It’s hard to get into but wholly satisfying once it hooks you on.

Dead Rising 4

Lastly, Dead Rising 4…is a game. It’s, quite comfortably, the worst of the Dead Rising games to date as it’s been streamlined to the point of being something totally unlike a Dead Rising game. Still, if you’re going to be getting the other games anyway, you may as well have another game to fill out your library, I guess?

Humble Monthly is a selection of news games curated by Humble for just $12. It’s crazy value: you might be hard pressed to find any of the above for that price on their own. As a Humble Monthly subscriber, you also get 10% off anything on the Humble Store and access to a tonne of indies in the Trove. You can also opt-out at anytime without a contract.
