Mafia II And Prey Coming To Xbox One Backwards Compatibility
Gangsters and "green men" from another world join the Backwards Compatibility library.
It’s Tuesday, it’s around 5pm GMT, and it’s time for another couple of additions to the backwards compatibility library, and these are some great picks. As is tradition, Major Nelson has tweeted out the latest inductees. Check it out below:

Though not to everyone’s taste, Mafia II is a fantastic journey through the criminal underworld of the 1950s. Though it’s a third person shooter at its core, the true highlight of the game is the story, the characters and that gut punch of an ending. Prey, meanwhile, is heavily focused on the art of shooting shit in the face. Released in 2006 after being in development since 1995, Prey has a long and storied history with gaming, and it’s still an enjoyable sci-fi romp 12 years after its release.
What do you think about today’s announcement? Let us know in the comments. Or kick up a fuss about how Modern Warfare 2 isn’t backwards compatible. Either or, really. Also, be sure to check out what Leon thought of the Shadow of the Colossus remake. Spoiler alert: he wasn’t impressed.
