If you’re like me and you’re tired of waiting for Nintendo to pull their finger out and just bring Nintendogs to the Switch, Imagineer have announced that their spiritual successor, Little Friends: Dogs & Cats, will be coming to the Switch in Europe and North America soon. Check out the announcement trailer below.
The game has been available in Japan since late last year, but indie publisher Sold Out will be bringing the game to the West later on this year. In Little Friends, you can look after your favourite canines and felines, dressing them up, playing with them and generally not having to deal with the judgement your real pets give you when you try to put a cowboy hat on their head.
Again, this looks like the perfect game for those waiting for a new Nintendogs, but the inclusion of cats makes this fantastic for all pet lovers. With a variety of breeds shown in the trailer (fingers crossed for Huskies and French Bulldogs), Little Friends: Dogs & Cats could be a real sleeper hit for the Nintendo Switch.
I just hate the fact it’s called Dogs & Cats, not Cats & Dogs. It seems weird to me.
