Last Chance For January 2018’s Free PlayStation Plus Games

Mankind Divided

If you’ve been stuck in a Christmas pudding induced haze over the past month, you may not have found time to download the free PlayStation Plus games for January 2018. Well, you better act fast if so: it’s the last day until February’s freebies roll around.

The underloved but also underdeveloped Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was the headline act and is absolutely worth trying if you like spies and long arms that spin. While it may not be as essential as its predecessor, Adam Jensen’s short adventure is a good distraction. You can even extend your play-session with the heavily discounted season pass on the PlayStation Store.

Telltale Batman

If an easy platinum trophy is what you want, an easy platinum trophy is what you will get with Telltale’s Batman. It’s more immersive than a lot of Telltale’s fare from a gameplay perspective, but still has the same performance issues that plague the developer’s output. A free chance to get a platinum trophy in five or six hours, though? You shouldn’t pass that up.

Finally, the dynasty of That’s You! and PlayStation Plus is coming to an end. A part of the service since the dawn of time, Sony have given up trying to push the PlayLink title, so if you want it for free, now’s the time. It isn’t amazing, but fun for a short while with some friends.

And the rest of the line-up:

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (PS4)
Batman: The Telltale Series (PS4)
StarBlood Arena (PS Plus bonus – PS VR required)
That’s You! (PS Plus bonus – PlayLink)
Sacred 3 (PS3)
Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (PS3)
Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness (PS Vita)
Uncanny Valley (PS Vita & PS4)

If you miss out on the selection today, the games typically rotate out at around noon time when the new month’s batch is due out. You may have until tomorrow to add these to your library.

Bear in mind that PlayStation Plus games are only available to subscribers. If you haven’t signed up, you can get a good deal over here.
