January 2018’s Humble Monthly Might Be The Best One Yet

The Long Dark PS4 Survival Games

If Humble Monthly went out with a bit of a whimper this year, 2018 is kicking off with a bang for the subscription service with three pretty big hitters as its early unlocks.

First up comes The Long Dark, one of best survival games out there. It was in Early Access for a long time but had its full release earlier this year to critical acclaim, thanks to its patient approach to surviving in the wilderness sans zombies. It also has a story mode, which is ticking along just fine. I reviewed it for PS4 and utterly loved it.

Next up, Remedy’s polarising Quantum Break may not have sold as many Xbox Ones as Microsoft may have liked, but it’s a solid shooter with some neat time mechanics all the same. Pick it up on PC and revel in the fact that Aidan Gillen really struggles with any accent that isn’t his own.

The last of the early unlocks, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III is admittedly pretty alien to me but it has some decent if unspectacular reviews. It’s a strategy game, so it might take over your life if you let it.

All of this and more still to be revealed is yours for just $12. Considering that any one of these three games can go for the price of admission alone, this is a bit of a crazy deal. Sign up for Humble Monthly here and play these games straight away.
