God of Thor? God of War 4 Concept Art Leaks

God of War 4

Believe me when I say this, I am a big fan of God Of War, the story of a lone spartan warrior seeking revenge against the Gods of Olympus. I’ve eagerly awaited a return to the franchise, especially after God of War Ascension left me feeling a little let down.

Cultured Vultures spoilers

A source has indicated that Kratos may have journeyed north after he destroying the Gods of Olympus, to the lands of Valhalla? That sounds rather strange to say. Shinobi602 on his social media account is quoted on saying ‘Across the rainbow bridge…’ & ended with this ‘…to the halls of Valhalla.’

An industry insider like Shinobi602 couldn’t be having us all on surely; April fools has been and gone after all. But as if by fate images then started to appear on the internet to confirm this. NerdLeaks are the source for the images but their website has since gone offline and their Twitter account lies dead, like Olympus.

The images cast light on what would be an intriguing setting, the large Nordic architecture thrown against dark grey mountainous backgrounds, swirling seas with the contrast of bright colourful wooded areas. I can’t help but feel a slight sense of Lord of The Rings when staring into the pictures. Imagine however Kratos’ rage spilling over into Valhalla, his brute strength clashing against Odin’s will, or the trickster Loki would make a very interesting boss encounter. Let’s not forget Thor, this would be a boss fight of epic proportions. Or even Ragnarok the beast to end all of Valhalla, maybe Kratos is Ragnarok. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Kratos’ venturing to the lands of the Nordic Gods.

Killing Gods all over again in a bloody horrific way? Yes please where do I sign up? But hell yeah I would welcome Kratos back into the gaming world with open arms. Fingers crossed Santa Monica have something big planned for us and check the concept art here yourself here.
