If, like me, you’ve been waiting to kill more things with Kratos ever since his sensational PS4 debut, today is the day. The September 2018 PlayStation Plus games available today (September 4th) with seven in total being available on the PlayStation 4, which is totally fine by me.
God of War 3 is the headliner of the new games coming through the system today and is the concluding part to Kratos’ Greek odyssey. It’s the most bombastic, too, featuring platforming across giants and mutilations aplenty. I regret giving up trying to complete it on hard on PS3 and just putting it on easy when it became too much, so now’s my chance to make amends.
There’s only really one big game being added today as Destiny 2 is already available for PlayStation Plus subscribers in a bid to garner more interest in Forsaken. The franchise has fallen on hard times, though with a host of new players and more transparency from Bungie, it may just have a renaissance. It’s worth adding to your library, at the very least.
The line-up in full:
Destiny 2 (PS4)
God of War III: Remastered (PS4)
Knowledge is Power (PS Plus Bonus – PlayLink)
Here They Lie (PS Plus Bonus – PS VR required)
Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition (PS3 + PS4/PS Vita)
QUBE Director’s Cut (PS3 + PS4)
Foul Play (PS Vita + PS4)
Sparkle 2 (PS Vita)
If you’re yet to see any of the games in the PlayStation Store, it’s typically refreshed by noon at the very latest, which means that you may actually be able to snag August 2018’s still if you’re yet to.
