Ahead of its launch this Friday, the launch trailer for Ghost of Tsushima has popped up on PlayStation’s YouTube channel as an unlisted video.
Clearly intended to launch on July 17th, what with the “Available Now” screen, the trailer is yet another beautiful glimpse at the world of Tsushima. Check it out below before it is inevitably set to private.
Jin Sakai must set aside his samurai traditions and forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.
If you were in any doubt about how much life Sucker Punch are squeezing out of the now pretty old PlayStation 4, just take a look at this trailer. I’ve never been one to care about fidelity, but goodness gracious, this game is an absolute beauty. That’s without even mentioning its little details, like the swaying of wind and Jin running through rose fields.
We won’t be playing Ghost of Tsushima for review embargo, but we will be covering it at launch. It’s Sucker Punch’s first game since inFamous: Last Light, itself a standalone expansion to inFamous: Second Son. It’s probably the last big exclusive to come to PlayStation 4 until the PlayStation 5 comes along, unless Deep Down gets a surprise launch next week or something.
