Get Ready, The Spyro Trilogy Remaster Will Arrive This Year

Ever since the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was announced, fans have been waiting for a Spyro Trilogy remaster. Recently, Kotaku sources have reported that Activision is working on exactly that and will announce it in March 2018 and release it in Q3 2018.

Just like with the Crash Bandicoot remaster, the remastered version of the beloved Spyro the Dragon trilogy will boast improved graphics, along with new lighting, animations, cinematics and a remastered soundtrack to top it all off. They’re also changing the save feature, just like with Crash, too.

The trilogy will be a timed exclusive for PS4, being ported to other consoles next year, just like the Crash Bandicoot remasters, reportedly, which would mean we should be seeing ports of that trilogy to other consoles this year already.

The games will be remastered by Vicarious Visions, who remastered the Crash Bandicoot trilogy, too. We might even see some content in the Sypro Trilogy remaster that was cut from the original games, like the Stormy Ascent level that we got as a free DLC for a short time.
