Gamescom’s Opening Night Live To Take Place On August 27th

Followed by three days of presentations.

Gamescom

In the wake of the news that Gamescom will now be a digital only event, the organisers have revealed the schedule for the online presentations, with Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley now taking place on Thursday, August 27th, with presentations and interviews taking place from then until Sunday, August 30th.

Opening Night Live will be the biggest portion of Gamescom, with the bulk of the announcements, world premieres and so on occuring then, but the organisers have ensured there’s still reasons to tune in for the extra three days. There will be plenty of daily shows and news round-ups, partner content and an Awesome Indies showcase.

Gamescom will be wrapped up on August 30th with a Best of Show presentation, along with an awards ceremony. All in all, there’s plenty to be excited about, unless you’re me, who now has to spend his 27th birthday looking at Geoff Keighley’s face. Are you looking forward to Gamescom?
