Fuser’s New Unexpected DJs Trailer Gatecrashed By David Hasselhoff

Don't hassle the Hoff, and so on.

DJ Hoff in his natural habitat.

Are you ready for your normal Thursday to be completely ambushed by the appearance of Baywatch star and, perhaps more importantly, the best part of the Spongebob Squarepants movie, David Hasselhoff? Nah, I didn’t think you were, but you don’t have a say in the matter unfortunately, as he’s appeared in a new trailer for Harmonix’s upcoming DJ game Fuser. You can check it out for yourself above.

Wait, Why Is David Hasselhoff In My Gaming News?

You tell me. We were sent a press release that said David Hasselhoff is in a new Fuser trailer, clicked the link and were shown that video, which honestly feels like being dragged through someone else’s acid trip. I think I kinda love it, but I’m not sure.

The trailer is designed to show that anyone can be a DJ with Fuser, with Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness, professional snowboarder Chloe Kim and Cheeto’s mascot Chester Cheetah all making an appearance. Oh, and actual DJ Diplo, I guess that’s important too. The trailer also asks you to create your own DJ persona at the link right here.

What’s Fuser Again?

Fuser is a DJ simulator of sorts, that sees players combine over a hundred songs together in unique ways to create their own mash-ups. For someone who’s a fan of the work of DJ Cummerbund or Neil Cicierega, Fuser should appeal. Considering it’s also being developed by Harmonix, who created Rock Band, you know it’ll have plenty of musical pedigree. Fuser will be launching on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on November 10th, meaning you can channel your inner DJ Hoff from next month.
