While we’re deep in the midst of Avengers: Endgame fever, there’s another new Marvel skin up for grabs in Fortnite after the addition of Black Widow to the Item Shop. Star-Lord (Peter Quill) is the second skin released as part of the Fortnite: Endgame collaboration, and it’s kind of goofy.
Here’s what Star-Lord looks like in Fortnite, along with his Dance Off emote.

If you remember, Quill tries to initiate a dance off with Ronan at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy to cause a distraction. Great choice of music as well here; I really feel like Fortnite’s composers should generally be given a lot more credit than they are.
Honestly, while I would prefer to wear this over the Black Widow skin, it just looks a little goofy. Not only does Quill look oddly “condensed” here, but the hair seems ripped straight from the Season 5 Drift skin.
He’s also wearing a cut-off jacket instead of the much nicer jacket he wears in the movies. Say what you will about his character and how he ending up getting half the galaxy killed, but the man has style.
Honestly, give me Rust Lord over this any day.
The Fortnite Star-Lord skin costs 1500 V-Bucks and is of the Marvel rarity, which means that it won’t be coming back once the event is over.
