Fortnite’s Playground v2 Rings in the Changes For the LTM

Fortnite Playground V2

Fortnite’s Playground mode will return tomorrow (July 25th) and will still be served up as an LTM, despite what some fans might have hoped for. Epic have hinted that it may be a permanent feature of Fortnite one day, but until then, it looks like they are going to keep tweaking it until they have it where they want it to be.

The new and improved Playground will feature all of the changes introduced with season 5, which means ATKs are going to be the order of the day. You can almost smell the amount of videos on YouTube of someone creating some nonsense with them involving Bouncers.

As Playground is all about experimentation, Epic have gone ham with the amount of resources and drops for v2. There will simply be more of everything, including bounce and launch pads, ammo, resources, and (Jesus Christ save us all) a max cap on rockets of sixty.

Requested by many, Playground will also allows players to team up into their own squads and change at will. A large part of Playground’s success was down to it being the perfect battleground for Fortnite allies to become enemies to prove who’s best, so this tweak will only further that idea.

Here are the patch notes in full, which were included with the details for v5.10:
