Trying to get into Fortnite’s Big Bang event to close out Chapter 4? You and about 20 million other people, apparently. With the event set to kick off at 7PM GMT, many Fortnite fans are currently unable to even get into the game itself, let alone the event, with queue times of an hour (UPDATE: now two hours) being reported.
However, while it’s a shame that many players will miss the premiere of the event, Eminem’s concert and subsequent teasing of Chapter 5 will actually be replayed a couple of times so that everyone can experience, as announced by Epic.
Well that escalated quickly. Whether you're in the lobby or in a queue, fear not!
We’ll be adding two more showings of The Big Bang after the 2pm ET show.

Players can rather unexpectedly now still play a normal match of Fortnite while players who missed the first showing wait for the next two; the game will go into downtime after the second re-airing.
If you’re currently queueing up to get into Fortnite, we really cannot recommend that you leave and rejoin, as there’s no telling how far back in the queue that might put you. Instead, just wait for that clock to tick down and catch the second showing.
Tomorrow is also a big day in Fortnite with the launch of Chapter 5. We’ve seen a lot of leaks already across the Battle Pass and even the map itself, leading to Epic just straight up publishing the trailer almost 12 hours early.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
