Fortnitemares 2019: Search A Chest In A Ghost Town

This is going to be a nightmare challenge.

Fortnitemares 2019 is upon us, which means it’s time to take on the Storm King as well as our bank when we tell that, yes, we do want to buy more V-Bucks. Don’t try and cut me off. We also get Fortnitemares challenges with one asking you to search chests chests in a ghost town.

The challenge is part of a wider one, Search a chest in a haunted forest, a ghost town, and a spooky farm, which sees you searching for chests in Weeping Woods and Frenzy Farm for the latter. The ghost town, though, that’s a tricky one. It’s not a named location.

The Fortnitemares Ghost Town is actually a landmark right in the northeast of the map by the name of Pristine Point, a spot that almost nobody goes to in Fortnite: Chapter 2.

Here it is on the Fortnite map.

As you can see, Pristine Point is to the northwest of Steamy Stacks on the Fortnite map, G1 on the grid.

As for actually getting the chests, well, it isn’t going to be easy. There are two houses in total at the landmark with presumably just the one chest each. Not many people know what the ghost town is referring to, so get down to Pristine Point as soon as possible before it turns into another Risky Reels chest challenge.

Once you’ve managed to open a chest, don’t forget to go and get the other two to unlock your reward for Fortnitemares 2019.

Elsewhere in Fortnitemares, there are a tonne of new skins to coincide with the event, and there will likely be more on the way. We’ve also had a look at some early Loading Screens, as well as the Victory Umbrella you earn for defeating Storm King.

Fortnitemares 2019 takes place from now until November 4th.
