Think you have what it takes to hit the top 5%?

Ahead of the second season of Chapter 2, Epic are treating Fortnite fans to a few special tournaments, one of which is dedicated entirely to PlayStation 4 players with skins on the line. The Fortnite Celebration Cup takes place on February 15th to the 16th.

Alongside a couple of other cosmetics, competitors can also get themselves the Tango skin by doing well within the event on its first day. Here’s what you get for placing well during the event:

Top 50% – “Take Cover” Spray
Top 25% – “Wild Accent” Pickaxe
Top 5% – “Tango” Outfit

It’s obviously quite the task to finish in the top 5% of what is still an immensely stacked game, but there are different regional leaderboards for all of the places that Epic host servers, so your chances will increase.

Here’s how the scoring works for the Fortnite Celebrate Cup:

Victory Royale: 10 Points
2nd – 5th: 7 Points
6th – 15th: 5 Points
16th – 25th: 3 Points

To take part, simply jump on when the Fortnite Celebration Cup is live and head on over to the “Compete” tab from the lobby.

There are a couple of quick things to be aware of, though: you must have a Fortnite account at level 15 and 2FA must also be enabled on your Epic account, otherwise you will not be able to claim any potential prizes.

Will Tango Ever Come To The Fortnite Item Shop?

We wouldn’t be surprised if it did at some point or other. Epic do tend to release exclusive skins to coincide with events and then add them to the Item Shop to be bought at a later date.

It’s also really unlike Epic to make a skin that is restricted to just the best of the best players. The top 5% is still a lot of players in a game that has millions, but if Tango is only owned by “sweaty” players, everyone else will be eager to buy it outright to join the club, as it were.

If you can’t hit the top 5% of players, which, let’s be honest, is going to be a tall order, bide your time and wait for Tango to hit the Fortnite Item Shop down the line.

Elsewhere in Fortnite, the current season just keeps rolling on and on with a couple of delays.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
