While not every single cosmetic in Fortnite is priced at a sensible amount, you do have to give credit to Epic for the amount of freebies they seem to love doling out to their players. Every year, their Lantern Trials gives out free cosmetics to people who take part, and it’s no different for 2024.
To take part in this year’s Fortnite Lantern Trials, simply go to lanterntrials.fortnite.com and sign-in with your Epic Games account. Just for doing this, you will then receive the Disco Baller Spray for free.
From here, all you have to do is to survive Storm Circles in regular matches of Battle Royale, whether that’s traditional BR, Zero Build or even Ranked.
You unlock 1 badge for every 5 Storm Circles that you survive. You need 11 badges in total in order to unlock every Storm Circle. Therefore, you will need to survive 55 Storm Circles in order to unlock every Lantern Trials 2024 cosmetic for free.
Fortnite Lantern Trials 2024 Cosmetics
There are just three cosmetics to unlock for this year’s Lantern Trials:
Disco Baller Spray
Players need 1 badge in order to unlock this Spray, which you are given automatically just for signing up.
Moonlit Peace Wrap
Players will need 6 badges in order to unlock the Moonlit Peace Wrap. That’s 30 Storm Circles.
Nightblade Pickaxe
Players will need 11 badges in order to unlock the Nightblade Pickaxe. That’s 55 Storm Circles.
When Does Fortnite Lantern Trials 2024 End?
The Lantern Trials will end this year on Sunday, April 7th, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET. You will not be able to earn any of these free cosmetics once the Lantern Trials have concluded, though they may come to the Item Shop at a later date.
