Looks Like G.I. Joe’s Snake Eyes Is Coming To Fortnite

This will never end.

First Predator, then the Terminator, and now G.I. Joe: it looks like Fortnite is a personal tour through Donald Mustard’s pop culture favourites from his younger year lately, especially as it seems like a Snake Eyes skin will be released to the game soon.

Here’s everything you need to know about Snake Eyes in Fortnite, including when he releases and at what price.

Wait, Snake Eyes?

Yep, Snake Eyes. In the transmission from Jonesy sent out on social media, there is a “Ninja Master” that he is tracking down. Right at the end of the video, Jonesy mentions that “knowing is half the battle”, a motto of the G.I. Joe Team.

Adding to this, Donald Mustard recently updated his Twitter location to Arashikage Clan, which Snake Eyes belongs to. On top of that, he also seems to have a tattoo of the clan on his left arm.

He’s pretty rad as far as characters go and will even be getting a whole new solo Hollywood movie released this year, which had actually been delayed from 2020 due to, you know, the world.

Fortnite Snake Eyes Price

Historically speaking when it comes to these crossover skins, Snake Eyes should cost between 1500-1800 V-Bucks.

It’s highly likely that players will also be able to pick up different cosmetics alongside Snake Eyes, including emotes and Pickaxes — there’s no way they won’t bring his swords into the game as Pickaxes.

Fortnite Snake Eyes Release Date

Snake Eyes will almost certainly come to the game in the next Item Shop, especially as that’s been the case with every crossover skin (and even Gangnam Style emote) this season. Expect Snake Eyes to be available in the Item Shop from January 29th for at least a few days.

As for other G.I. Joe skins, it’s highly unlikely Snake Eyes will be the sole representative from the franchise. Give the people Cobra Commander.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
