Fortnite: Season 8 has brought with it a sea of change, no less so than in how new weapons are added. The Combat Assault Rifle is a brand new weapon that is down to the community to bring into the game.

Players can donate bars at Donation Boards to vote for whichever one of the Combat Assault Rifle and Combat SMG they want to see added to the game. Whichever weapon reaches the total amount of Gold Bars required first will be added to the game.

Here’s everything you should know about the Combat Assault Rifle in Fortnite: Season 8.

Fortnite Combat Assault Rifle Stats

WeaponCombat Assault Rifle
RarityLegendary
Damage25
Magazine Size35
Fire Rate9
Reload Time2.79 seconds

The Combat Assault Rifle will be available from Common rarity all the way up to Legendary, much like the normal Assault Rifle. The above stats are for the Legendary version of the Combat Assault Rifle.

The Combat Assault Rifle will be a fairly high skill weapon as it will have quite a bit of recoil, so you may want to jump into Creative. However, what’s interesting here is its high fire rate and general stats, which are closer to an SMG than an AR as we know it.

While its max damage is low, its fire rate will likely make up for it. Will also be interesting to see what kind of damage it can do to builds.

Fortnite Combat Assault Rifle Location

As a weapon that’s available from Common to Legendary, the Combat Assault Rifle will be available everywhere where loot normally spawns, including on the floor and in chests. You will also be able to upgrade its rarity by speaking to NPCs.

However, it has to be voted to be included in the game, first of all. If you want to see the Combat Assault Rifle make its way into Fortnite, be sure to spend 50 Gold Bars at Donation Boards whenever you have the Gold Bars spare.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
