Fortnite Season 7 Week 8 Loading Screen Battle Star Revealed

Epic must hate patching a big update into Fortnite as so much stuff always leaks as a result. We’ve already had a look at the Week 7 Loading Screen for Season 7, but we have also been given a glimpse at what to expect from the Week 8 Loading Screen as well.

Seasoned Fortnite players will be in for a bit of a throwback with this one, which depicts the Ice King (presumably) atop his castle overlooking the whole Fortnite map. He has something in his hand, which you’d assume may trigger the already leaked “Icemares” event that seems to be similar to the hugely polarising Fortnitemares.

And the Loading Screen itself:

It’s not quite as obvious as the previous week’s Loading Screen, but there is a hint in the lower portion of the image next to the Ice King’s leg.

Those who remember Season 4 will also recall Epic’s obsession with co-ordinates based Battle Star hints with these ones offering a nice little throwback. The resolution may not come through that well on the site, but they are: A9, B9, A8, B8.

Pulling up the Fortnite map and using these co-ordinates, we can surmise that it’s the cross-section of all of these co-ordinates where we will find the Battle Star, which is just south of Frosty Flights.

Make your way over there once you have completed your Week 8 Battle Pass challenges as well as all seven previous weeks and you will find the Battle Star, which may actually be a Battle Banner if the shape of the hint is to be believed. That would be a bit of bummer as Banners have almost no purpose in Fortnite whereas a Battle Star can really help the Battle Pass grind along.
