Fortnite Season 4 Guide: Raise The Loot Lake Disco Ball With Other Players

Week 5 of Fortnite’s fourth season is here, and with it a whole new bunch of Battle Pass challenges to dust off. They aren’t quite what we were expecting due to leaked info, but let’s just agree that a little bit of variety never hurt anyone.

One of this week’s more interesting challenges is Dance with others to raise the Disco Ball near Loot Lake, which you only need to accomplish one time to get your reward.

It’s a pretty straightforward task, but one that becomes a bit of a minefield if you have anyone landing with you who has murder on their mind — they tend to shoot up anyone who’s trying to complete the challenge, the funk-hating buggers.

Here’s a quick guide on how to dance the night away. You can also check a video on this above.

Loot Lake Disco Location

Loot Lake, being the terrible waste of space that it is, only has a few notable spots. Where you want to find the disco is on Loot Lake’s most prominent pier with the two small factories. If you can’t figure out which one, use your ears and it will become clear to you pretty quickly.

So you have to dance in a specific spot; something that not a lot of player seem to immediately grasp. Go to one one of the room’s corners and start dancing, at which point the floor beneath you should light up.

You will then need three other players to stand on the corresponding panels in the other corners; they do not need to be your squadmates. Likewise, the type of dance doesn’t really matter, but there’s something beautiful about everyone unleashing the Orange Justice in tandem.

Once everyone is on the panels and dancing, the disco ball will rise before making a loud noise; the UI should then show a notification to say that it has been completed. Once you’ve bathed in your accomplishment, run like hell because your temporary accomplices are going to want you dead.
