Raz’s Explosive Bow is a new Mythic bow that was added in the Fortnite v16.30 update alongside the Unstable Bow. That’s a lot of bow.

Unlike the Unstable Bow, though, Raz’s Explosive Bow is not something you can buy with Gold Bars — you have to earn it in battle instead. And if you’ve ever fought an NPC with a powerful Mythic or Exotic weapon before, you know there’s a good chance you might not walk away unscathed.

Here’s everything you need to know about Raz’s Explosive Bow in Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 6.

“Heavy-hitting bow that launches 3 small bombs on impact.”

Like other Mythic variations of weapons we already have in the normal loot pool, as seen with the weapons the Spire Assassins would wield, Raz’s Explosive Bow is just a more powerful weapon that does extra damage.

The good thing about the Explosive Bow is that it has the potential to wipe a squad thanks to its three small bombs spreading out after your arrow lands, which goes alongside its base damage. While you might not be able to knock all of them at once, you will at least put out some decent damage to both players and builds.

Raz’s Explosive Bow can be found after defeating the Raz NPC in The Spire, which you can check out on the map above.

Raz has 400-500 HP and even possesses a brand new attack that we’ve never seen before that utilises some kind of cube magic. It doesn’t hit too hard, but it’s a good idea to try and eliminate him as soon as possible, otherwise it will hit hard.

Keep your distance and use a high DPS weapon, such as an AR, to deal massive damage. Beware that Raz can teleport, so you may have to chase him down. Once you’ve defeated him, he will drop Raz’s Explosive Bow along with some Gold Bars.

The storyline quests seem to have ended with Raz now being the caretaker of The Spire, possibly becoming corrupted along the way. It will be fascinating to see where this all ends, but it appears as if the Spire Assassins have been dealt with. All of this is likely leading to The Foundation getting freed towards the end of the season, but who knows what will happen to the Zero Point.

Fortnite is a free multiplayer game on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
