With her being a part of the Battle Pass and one of the community’s favourite skins of the season, it shouldn’t be a surprise to see Raven get her on weapon in Fortnite in the form of the Unstable Bow.
The Unstable Bow is the latest in a long line of bow weapons added to Fortnite, replacing snipers and drastically changing up the meta — you can’t get bodied from across the map as easily anymore. However, the Unstable Bow is one of the most interesting bows in the whole season to date, even if its name gives you a hint of the kind of weapon it will be.
Here’s everything you should know about the Unstable Bow in Fortnite, including its stats, where you can find it, and how it works.
Fortnite Raven’s Unstable Bow Stats & Tips
“Bow that fires…. something! ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯”
So, the Unstable Bow doesn’t have any stats of its own per se, as it’s actually completely random what it will shoot: Fire Arrow, Shockwave Arrow, Grenades Arrow or Stink Arrow, tying into the “unstable” component of its name and also Raven herself.
This means that it’s more of a casual weapon than anything, a weapon that’s much better for content than competitive. You can predict a lot of people will try to use it for its Shockwave effect and just end up getting the Stink instead.
It’s honestly a pretty interesting weapon, though it will be interesting to see how many people use it over the course of the season. There sure are a lot of bow weapons in Fortnite these days, so you better get used to using them if you want to have any kind of fun in Season 6.
Don’t forget: you need to pull the quiver on the bow back all the way to trigger the effect, otherwise you will just be firing a normal arrow.
Fortnite Raven’s Unstable Bow Location

As it’s Raven’s weapon, the superhero herself is the one who sells it as an NPC.
Raven, Rebirth Raven in particular, is located in a hut to the northeast of Sweaty Sands and southwest of Coral Castle. Check out the Raven location video above for where that is exactly.
To get the Unstable Bow, go up to Raven and part with 500 Gold Bars to add it your inventory. Bear in mind that you only get to use the weapon in one match and you will have to rebuy it again in the next match.
It’s good to see that Epic are adding a lot of fun items to the game these days, even if they’re mostly in the form of bows.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
