Fortnite: New Deadpool Back Bling & Sprays Revealed (UPDATED)

Shing shing shing shing.

We’re venturing into the third week of Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2, which means plenty of players will have made some progress on their way towards unlocking Deadpool. Before the skin himself, though, it looks like we will be getting even more free cosmetics in the form of a back bling and a new spray.

Discovered by Hypex, a reputable dataminer, the new back bling takes the form of Deadpool’s iconic katanas he wears on his back, as well as a Deadpool-themed grenade.

Here’s the katana back bling:

We’re not sure how to unlock these at this time of writing, but we’d guess that they are related to the week 3 Deadpool challenges.

Anyone who purchases the Battle Pass for the season can unlock Deadpool as the secret skin for free. All players need to do is tick off some fairly straightforward challenges, such as finding his chimichangas and missing milk carton.

It’s not clear exactly how many weeks of Deadpool challenges you will need to dust off before you unlock the man himself, but we’d estimate it will be eight consecutive weeks like it has been for previous secret skins. As long as Epic keep doling out these free rewards, the wait won’t be nearly as terrible.

Deadpool is the third Marvel skin to come to Fortnite following Star-Lord and Black Widow during the Avengers: Endgame event.

UPDATE: you will get these cosmetics from completing the week 3 and 4 challenges for Deadpool.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
